On 31 January 2019, Järnmalmer was named Metal Recycler/Scrap Dealers of the year in Sweden, at Återvinningsgalan (the Recycling Gala) in Stockholm. The jury’s explanatory statement was that Järnmalmer has renewed a traditional industry with its system for measuring CO2 emissions and offering climate compensation of material that is recycled within the framework of the business.
It is a great honour, but also an acknowledgment that our efforts and the long-term work we have put in for a better environment gives results. With continued commitment and creativity, we will develop the recycling business and at the same time try to be an inspiration in this area.
